Millionaires get nearly $150,000 to grow their wealth, while working families get barely $150. According to CFED’s new analysis, “these programs are aimed at increasing savings and investments, boosting homeownership and higher education, and strengthening retirement security…the problem is the outcome: this tax spending is largely going to those at the top, rather those at the bottom who are struggling to build wealth.”
